Performance Velvet is a highly durable 100% polyester knit fabric with a buttery soft feel and matte finish for bespoke home decor and upholstery projects. Featuring a short pile and rich, multidimensional texture, Performance Velvet looks similar to a high-end cotton-velvet fabric and offers a smooth, felted backing for beautiful drape. This family- and pet-friendly plush velvet upholstery fabric is resistant to stains and spills and offers a high abrasion threshold for applications such as throw pillows, poufs, blankets, and curtains.

Performance Velvet Fabric FAQs
Wash separately in cool water using a gentle machine cycle. Machine dry using a low temperature or permanent press setting and remove promptly to avoid wrinkles. Do not dry clean. Do not bleach.
Designs print with crisp detail and vibrant color. Smooth fabrics show fine details clearly, while textured fabrics create a more natural printed look.
Some Spoonflower fabrics may include a small amount of extra width for the selvedge (the finished edge of the fabric). This area helps prevent fraying during printing and shipping. The listed fabric width refers to the usable printed area, and any selvedge is included as additional width.
